We are proud to announce that Governor DeSantis has approved Flagler County's "VACATION RENTALS SAFETY PLAN" which allows vacation rental properties to be open & invite guests to come and enjoy our
" LITTLE SLICE OF PARADISE ".

On behalf of the entire Cinnamon Beach House family, we’re reaching out to assure you that your safety and well-being remain our top priority even in these times of uncertainty surrounding travel and vacation stays.

We understand that many of our guests may be experiencing stress given the rapidly changing information on travel restrictions, closures, various models vs. data, and cancelled or postponed public events. We want you to know that we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely, and are listening carefully to the questions and concerns we receive from guests such as yourself as well as staying current with federal, state and local information, guidance and suggestions.

Our hearts go out to those who are affected by the events surrounding COVID-19 .

We would like to share a few of the enhanced actions we’re taking.

HOUSEKEEPING AND LAUNDRY
At the Cinnamon Beach House providing a safe and clean environment for our guests is always our top priority – that is even more so today. We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, and want you to feel at ease while enjoying your vacation stay at our beach house. During your stay, our home is “Your Home Away from Home.”

We are maintaining our existing high standards of cleanliness and providing additional COVID-19 guidance to our housekeeping staff about proper disinfection techniques consistent with both CDC and DBPR published guidelines.
All spaces are thoroughly cleaned with a focus on disinfecting “high-touch” surfaces.

Housekeeping will be washing and drying all linens, towels, etc. at the highest temperatures suggested by the manufacturer.

Housekeeping will continue to use only EPA-approved cleaners and disinfectants while cleaning our home.

Lastly, our housekeeping staff are also encouraged to pay extra attention to self-protection through CDC “best-practices” guidelines like thoroughly washing hands, limit touching eyes, nose and mouth; safe distancing and when necessary wearing face masks and/or gloves.

If any of our staff show signs of illness, high temperatures or reports coming into contact with someone who is suspected of having COVID-19 , they will not be permitted to work.

SOCIAL DISTANCING THROUGH CONTACTLESS CHECK-INS AND CHECK-OUTS
Fortunately, the Cinnamon Beach House is equipped with a keyless entry, which allows guests full access to our beach house without the need of personal interaction with our staff to facilitate the check-in and/or the check-out process.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR ISSUES
Maintenance requests from guests during their vacation stay are being evaluated based on the urgency of the need. Non-emergency maintenance items will be addressed after guest check-outs. For anything else that requires immediate attention during a stay, guests will be encouraged to vacate the property or remain in a separate room while the repair is tended to.

ADDITIONAL GUEST SAFETY
Please know, our guests can expect the highest quality care and attention to detail today, tomorrow and every day! As always, please use your own vigilance toward good hygienic practices in concert with our cleaning standards are the best defense against this virus or any other. BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICIES DURING COVID-19*

To try and adapt to these uncertain and quickly changing times, we are implementing a special COVID-19 cancellation policy which is outlined below.

A "Booked" reservation for the Cinnamon Beach House will have the ability to cancel prior to 30-days before arrival if any member of the party tests positive for the COVID-19 virus (no other medical conditions apply to this Amendment), or in the event of a travel ban to or from Florida being imposed either by the State of Florida or a guests home state (travel ban/restriction(s) must be COVID-19 related).**

Guests choosing to cancel their vacation stay, due to COVID-19 issue(s), outside of 30-days before check-in are given two (2) options:

Option # 1) Once notified by guest for need to cancel and proper proof of COVID-19 issue requiring cancellation is submitted, we will immediately open the dates of the initial reservation and market those dates to other potential guests. If we are successful renting those same dates, the original guest will receive a refund up to 100% of the rental rate***. If we need to reduce the original rental rate to attract a new guest party, we will refund up to 100% of the new rental rate collected.

Option # 2) If a guest party needs to cancel due to COVID-19 related issues, and submits adequate proof outlined above, then the booking guest will receive a 100% Vacation Stay Credit**** to use on a future vacation stay within one year of their original “check-in” date.


Reservations cancelled within 30-days of check-in or for non-COVID-19 issues will be subject to our standard cancellation policy which is an 80% refund within 48-hours after initial booking.

* In some cases, those guests who book their vacation stay through the AirBnB listing portal, may be required to deal directly with AirBnB as we do not receive any funds from AirBnB until after the Guest has checked-in to our home. If AirBnB does not offer a refund (partial or full), those AirBnB guests of the Cinnamon Beach House will still be offered Option # 2 above upon proof of COVID-19 issue(s).

** If guests need to cancel a vacation stay due to COVID-19 related issues, we may require proof that one of the guests has tested positive, that there is a travel ban in place, etc. before a refund or Vacation Stay Credit will be offered.

*** If a guest party needs to cancel and does so prior to 30-days before check-in, the owner/manager of the Cinnamon Beach House will reopen those dates and market those dates to potential guests. If successful, original guest will receive a refund up to 100% of the original rental rate, fees, taxes, etc. If the owner/manager needs to discount the rental rate in order to rebook the dates, the original guest will receive a refund equal to 100% of the amount collected by the new renter. If the owner/manager is not successful in rebooking the dates or the original vacation stay, then the original guest will still be offered Option # 2 above (the 100% Vacation Stay Credit).

**** If a Vacation Stay Credit is offered, a future vacation stay must be used within 12-months of the original vacation stay rental dates. Guests will receive 100% of the original rental rate, fees, taxes, etc. to be applied towards the new vacation rental dates. Guests are responsible for any balance above the Vacation Stay Credit for associated new rescheduled vacation stay rates, fees, taxes, etc. No Refund(s) of any kind will be provided. The Vacation Stay Credit has zero cash value.


Special Terms for Cancellations with Vacation Stay Credits: Credit may be applied to a vacation stay reservation with an arrival date up to one (1) year after original reservation “check-in” date. After one (1) year the credit amount if forfeited if not used. All rescheduled vacation stay reservations are considered non-refundable, no matter the cause, even if those dates are re-rented by property owner/manager. Credits are non-transferable. After dates are rescheduled no further date changes may be made.


In the instance of a conflict between the terms of the original Rental Agreement and this Amendment, the terms of the Amendment shall prevail.


No Other Change
Except as otherwise expressly provided in this Amendment, all of the terms and conditions of the original Rental Agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect.


Miscellaneous Terms
Capitalized terms not otherwise defined in this Amendment will have the meanings ascribed to them in the Agreement. Headings are inserted for the convenience of the parties only and are not to be considered when interpreting this Amendment. Words in the singular mean and include the plural and vice versa. Words in the masculine include the feminine and vice versa. No regard for gender is intended by the language of this Amendment.
